This website has no forms, no accounts and no analytics or advertising tools.
Our site sets no tracking or audience-measurement cookies. The fml_lang cookie remembers the language you pick with the FR | EN button (kept 12 months). Without that choice, the site is shown in your browser’s language.
The home page can show a Google Maps map of our office. It loads only if you click “Accept” in the consent banner (or “Accept and show the map”). Google then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under its privacy policy. Your choice is kept for 12 months in the fml_consent cookie; you can change it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it with third parties only when the law requires it or with your consent. The website and our email are hosted by a service provider, so information may be kept outside Quebec, with adequate safeguards.
Emails from people who do not become clients are kept only as long as needed to answer the request. Client files are kept according to the Barreau du Québec’s record-keeping rules. Server logs are deleted after about one month.
You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to withdraw your consent. Write to the person in charge above; we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to information is limited to the people who need it. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the people concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information.
We may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
