Me Monica Maynard works mostly in private laws mostly in litigation or other litigious matters, mostly in commercial and family law. Her mandates have brought her to appear before the civil tribunals, both in the first instance as well as before the Court of Appeal. Her knowledge of the commercial field has allowed her to settle problems of family law related to personal and commercial planning. Her expertise has also brought her to direct her practice on strategies and the search for practical solutions taking into consideration the client’s objective as well the involved costs. She was born in Montreal and has obtained a bachelor in political science from McGill University as well as a Bachelor of Law from the University of Montreal. She is a member of the Quebec Bar since 1980. Me Maynard has been a president of the Jeune Barreau de Montréal and has also be a member of the Board of directors of the Quebec Bar as well at the Montreal Bar. She has been a part of the executive of the interprofessional counsel of Quebec as the representative of the Quebec Bar.
